Health and Safety

Health and Safety at Grimes Finishings is high on the agenda of our regular meetings and the recording of our findings enables us to understand areas where additional surveillance or training may be required. This Health and Safety data is collected and submitted to our site and management teams, where any trends are analysed and acted upon. All our contracts receive a regular site audit from our Health and Safety consultant and a report is produced for our contracts managers and the main contractors site management. 

Our minimum requirement for all operatives is the relevant CSCS card but full training programmes are always available for individuals. These programmes are based on a combination of required standards and project specific training. Health and Safety is communicated regularly to our operatives on site, through regular, topic specific Toolbox Talks. 

These talks are given by our contracts managers and recorded and stored in our office and also on site.
